In Doug's words

Situations Doug handles every week

Your best customers live in a few zip codes, not the whole metro

Citywide media charges for reach a Park Cities business cannot use. The Good Life Park Cities is mailed directly to targeted neighborhoods in the community, so a sponsor pays to be in front of a defined set of households every month.

Ads that get skipped

The magazine's content is local: stories about residents, spotlights on community members and businesses, upcoming events and announcements and photos submitted by readers. Sponsor messages sit next to material neighbors actually read.

No way to show expertise, only a logo

Sponsoring businesses contribute expert articles in their field; recent issues carry sponsor-written pieces on health, HVAC, roofing and moving. A column lets a business explain what it knows rather than just announce that it exists.

Branding that never builds

A one-time blast is forgotten by the next mail day. Doug's model is micro-targeted branding: the same households see the same business month after month, which is how recognition and increased sales accumulate in a neighborhood.

Print and digital handled by different vendors

Alongside the print sponsorship, Best Version Media offers geo-targeted digital ads across devices and an online presence dashboard for managing listings, monitoring reviews and tracking ad performance, so one publisher covers both.
